Heavy Rains, Flooding Hit Israel and Palestinian Areas

Floods triggered by heavy rains caused wide-spread damage and traffic disruptions in Israel and Palestinian territories on Sunday (November 16). In the West Bank district of Jericho, rivers swelled following an overnight downpour Two Palestinian workers in the West Bank settlement of Elkana suffered injuries when a construction site they were working at was hit by lightning, an Israeli website said.
